Security Management Training Sri LankaSubmitted by Ebe Brons on January 4, 2007 - 1:08pm.
This course is intended for managers working at country/field level. The training focuses on security management, risk assessments, crisis response, assessing information, briefing HQ/Field and interaction with the media. The course is highly interactive and brings theory and practice closer together. On day one, plenty of theory is used while discussing some Sri Lankan case studies. The second day is a simulation of a field office communicating with HQ office and vice versa. The simulation concerns an aid-program in Sri Lanka. During the day, all sorts of events occur and both offices are expected to respond rapidly and accurately. Because of these events and the appropriate incident reporting, the threat assessment for this scenario will change during the day. This can lead to changing security protocols and protective measures. Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka Tags: Training
