Bringing together three critical skill areas, this specialist integrated training course equips the NGO worker to ensure their own and others’ health, safety and wellbeing whilst working in and travelling to and from the field.

This three day course will enable you to assess the risks and dangers of the field environment, develop robust strategies for keeping physically safe, understand the psychological pressure which you are under and develop responses that will enable you to function effectively and calmly. It will also give you the skills to respond with basic first aid to medical emergencies and a range of injuries and illnesses that you might encounter on your travels.

Who should attend?
All NGO staff who work in and/or travel regularly to and from the field. This includes newcomers to the sector as well as experienced personnel looking for a refresher.
