The Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications or nominations in the field of Human Security at the tenure-stream assistant or tenured associate professor level to begin in the fall term of 2009. A Ph.D. prior to August 2008 is strongly preferred. Scholars from all social science disciplines are invited to apply. Knowledge of governmental and international organizations (including non-governmental organizations) is an added advantage. Evidence of a vibrant and promising research agenda leading to high quality publications in any of the wide variety of topics related to Human Security is essential.
