Returnee humanitarian workers - your experience can give valuable insight to research on aid work

Your particular experience can be a valuable contribution to the ongoing care of others in the future. If you have been overseas on a humanitarian assignment I would be very grateful for your input about your experiences. I am a psychologist who has worked with and in humanitarian work and am now researching at the University of Nottingham the effects of humanitarian experiences on aid workers. Little is known of the long term effects and the social and emotional consequences of contributing to aid. Your contribution would be very valuable.

The questionnaire is a short pilot study which would take about 10 minutes to fill out. As it is a pilot study, any comments you would care to contribute such as terminology, content, layout etc would be helpful. If you would agree to participate, please contact me on
