Livelihoods Assessment and Analysis - Free E-learning course from FAO

"Livelihoods Assessment and Analysis" is the fourth of a series of food security e-learning courses, with related training resources, produced by the EC-FAO Food Security Programme.

The course is completely self-paced and is available free of charge online or on CD-Rom at: http://www.foodsec.org/dl

Details: This course introduces the concept of livelihoods and the components of the livelihoods framework. It also provides guidance on assessing livelihoods in different food security contexts and on selecting and interpreting livelihoods indicators.

Dear Colleagues

I am interesting and tending to participate and learn from FAO 's course on the livelihoods assessment and analysis. For improving our services and charity activities in Cambodia.

Meanwhile, the course will support CRDA's project to reach gaol of charity project to improve quality and qauntity of livings in the rural and remote areas.

I support FAO program to improve local NGOs around the world for improving their quality and qauntity services.

Just want to make sure that you understand that you have to go to the FAO web site to sign up for this course -- posting your interest to take the course here on AWN won't do anything.

If you do take the course, it would be great if you could post here on AWN about how the course was, if you would recommend it, etc.
